What to cool a band saw with? Masterio fluid!

Masterio spraying systems are versatile. One of their uses is greasing and cooling of band saws.

Thin band saws (cutting-off machines) have their own cooling systems, but they are not always effective. Harsh working conditions cause immense dustiness of the machine and quick saw heating. It may lead to a blockage caused by sawdust and cutting tape overheating.

Masterio spraying systems are the solution. They can be used not only on edgebanders, but also on machines cutting solid wood – band saws, multisaws or mobile gang saws. On those machines spraying systems apply coolant or grease. Masterio spraying systems offer a variety of spraying nozzles able to apply any type of fluid: oil, water-based liquids, alcohol-based liquids and ever semi-liquid grease.

On band saws, spraying nozzles apply Masterio TR-03 – an innovative cooling-greasing liquid – on the cutting tape and drive wheels. It decreases the temperature of the wheels and the cutting tape even by 20 degrees. The fluid greases effectively all elements of the cutting system, increasing lifespan of the machine. Masterio TR-03 is an eco-friendly BIO product, it does not contain VOCs, makes life easier for health and safety services and has many other benefits.

Thanks to the versatility of the spraying system and effectiveness of the fluid, Masterio has helped a leading European floor board producer solve the problem of increased wear of saws in their bend cutters and cutting tape overheating. For one of our clients we installed the same spraying system on multisaws, which lengthened the lifespan of blades and increased the performance of machines.

The system can be used on cutting machines of other floor board, fin and two-by-four producers. Masterio spraying system is compatible with Wintersteiger, SCM, Felder, ACM, Centauro. DSB, Raimann and many other machines.

Masterio also offers technically advanced carbon guides. They stabilize the cutting tape and minimize wobbling and deviations. Masterio guides are made of composite material – abrasion resistant polycarbonate fibers sunk in epoxy resin. Their extreme abrasion resistance helps to lengthen the lifespan of a tape.
