What is the difference between particular spraying nozzles?

In this article we will show you the differences between particular Masterio spraying nozzles.

We have to mention that both nozzles have the same purpose – application of Masterio fluids on furniture formats, work tables, glue furnace worktables and other places where chemicals can be applied.

The two nozzles differ significantly in internal and external construction, regulation procedures and operation.

For the sake of the article we must name the two nozzles in order to differentiate them; the gold nozzle will be the gold/yellow nozzle with top flow regulation and the green nozzle will be the new, cylindrical nozzle with back regulation.

Similarities

As we said before, both nozzles are used for application of Masterio fluids on client-defined surfaces. Both need additional compressed air feed to open the spraying point and the only conditions to be met are one compressed air inlet and one spraying medium inlet. On both nozzles the spray fluid does not have to be pressurized. Due to the special design of the nozzles, both can “suck” the fluid even from a container placed below them. The compressed air fed to the nozzles is used to spray the medium and to support the “suction” of the preparation.

Differences

Aside from obvious external construction differences it is worth noticing, that the green nozzle is more precise. Its flow regulation is more accurate, which allows even the slightest adjustments to the stream. Its internal outlet canal cross-section is smaller, which allows to spray a very thin layer, but can be problematic in areas, where the layer should be thicker. In the areas, where the application should be thicker, we recommend using the golden nozzle. Moreover its regulation is more intuitive and easier. The regulation knob is visible at a glance which makes its operation easier even for less experienced operators. The green nozzle adjustment requires more experienced operators who exactly know, what amount of the preparation would yield the best results.

Which nozzle for which application?

As we mentioned earlier, the golden nozzle will perform better in areas, where the applied layer should be thicker. It is also easier to use, which makes it perfect for less experienced operators and it is more durable without the need of regulation. The green nozzle will be perfect for spots where a more precise application is necessary and the operator knows exactly what the end effect should be.
