Ecological spraying lines cleaning
Masterio ED 1000 cleaning fluid for coating rollers is 100% safe for employees and the environment. It can be successfully used instead of butyl acetate or acetone. It also has many other interesting uses.
Industrial coating rollers washing has been cumbersome for the staff and harmful for the environment. The rollers were cleaned using acetone, butyl acetate or methyl. Those are very aggressive and toxic substances.
Masterio has created an innovative product – ED 1000 cleaning fluid, which is equally effective for cleaning coating rollers, and at the same time much safer to use. It does not contain VOCs – toxic, volatile organic compounds and evaporates e.g. 1300 times slower than acetone. It is odorless, less toxic, does not irritate skin and is not carcinogenic.
ED 1000 is an organic product with an unique combination of esters. It’s not only eco-friendly, but also safe. With a fire point of 108°C and boiling temperature of 240°C it is hard to ignite and is not explosive. Using our fluid lowers OSH and firefighting costs. It is biodegradable so our clients do not have to pay higher environmental fees Due to its properties and slower evaporation, the usage is smaller than traditional solvents.
Masterio ED 1000 effectively cleans machines and devices. It easily cleans varnishes and dissolves resins and polymers. It works exactly the same at 20°C, as acetone or butyl acetate at 40°C and dissolves resins and polymers even more effectively. It prevents the “swelling” effect on the rollers, therefore expanding the longevity and effectiveness of the spraying lines.
Apart from coating rollers, Masterio ED 1000 can be used for:
- cleaning and washing tools for hand lamination (rollers, brushes, spatulas),
- cleaning tools for hand lamination (rollers, brushes),
- cleaning stirrers and resin feeders,
- cleaning resin, gel coat and top coat sprays,
- removing resin residue from different types of containers, tanks and barrels.
ED 1000 can be used as a solvent for unsaturated polyester, polyurethane, epoxy, phenol-formaldehyde and amic resins.
